There's a really good amount of underwhelming Tristana players.

She probably has the best late game of all the ADC's.
People hear someone like doublelift say that, and they think they need to start playing Trist.
However, alot of games get decided well before that.
Plus, if someone is poor mechanically, positionally, or strategically.... they can make even OP champs look average.

There's so much more to the game than most people recognize. You have to understand the nuances of all 10 champions in the game to be able to form and efficient strategy. Plus, you have to be able to get the other 4 people on your team to execute that strategy.

That's why niche players have such a hard time in SoloQ. LCS teams can make the team comp work around one champion through great communication.
But Niche picks in soloQ usually fail.

I wonder why that is. She isn't difficult to play.

If you know the enemy jungler is on the opposite side of the map, you should have the upper hand on dives and initiates.

Some people are just afraid to be patient.

Watching NA LCS, there's several things I've noticed about mid.

Bjerg is nasty with the pokes (early and often).
Hai can completely take over the game.
Pobelter has some skills.
Scarra does work on his comfort champs.
Mancloud/Shifter have lost a step.

There's something to be learned from all of them on how to play the role based on the first 4 weeks...

- All of them roam bot... only a few have roamed top.

- Team rotations make me jealous, you never get that great coordination in YoloQ.

- Assassins aren't doing well with the exception of Bjerg's Leblanc. They've mostly taken wave clear champs mid.

- Early dragons are taken when mid/adc are either in base or killed.

Her power curve is hard to get a handle on. Very strong level 1-2, drops off steadily until a little past mid game.

You have to take advantage of level 1-2 or youre going to have a passive, reactive game in bot

She falls off hard mid game before she ramps up late. Most of her early game damage is from her skills but the problem is all her skills scale off of ap and when mid game comes around her spells essentially don't do much.

I'm content with that. I'm a "take what the other team gives you" type of player. If they want to be aggressive and push lane, fine, I'll farm under tower and wait for you to make a mistake.

Her E I love. Kind of a "mini ignite". It can be deceptive since it doesn't do massive damage up front but can drain them a bit to where they would normally be walking off with double digit hp. Plus it's passive makes you a boss wave clearer.

I'm ok with her abilities being AP based, I use them mostly for their utility vs their damage anyway.

Q for attack speed
W as an escape or gap closer (can also jump over walls)
R as a defensive weapon to get champs off towers or teammates (or myself)

Then her passive stacked with her Q, berserker's greaves and BOTRK with PD? Forget about it. Any and all objective belong to my team at that point bc of my massive amount of attack speed.

The reason nobody really roams top anymore is you don't really get anything out of it. Whereas if u roam bot you can get a dragon out of it

So true. It kind of infuriates me when I'm bottom and our lane is getting pushed to tower, yet our jungler is up there trying to gank a mundo that's underneath his.

There is way more upside to ganking bot lane.

I think Lee Sin is my new "spam till I learn" champ. I've dabbled in him before. But good lord this dude is fun. It will be a long LONG time before I try him in ranked, but he's so fun in normals. Getting mobi boots and stacking AD early then spamming the Q-Ult-Q combo is probably one of my favorite things in this game now. I love early aggression, and he's perfect for it.

The skill cap on lee is very high. You see a lot of bad lee sin's too.

I think the pre-requisite on Lee other than obviously being able to hit skill shots is smart casting. If you don't smart cast, don't even try to play him.

Lee Sin. The difference between a great lee sin and a pro lee sin is bigger than any other champion

The things I've seen the Koreans do on Yasuo makes me cry.

Some Lee sin plays, Leblanc, & zed plays are crazy.

Basically, assassin types where you can jump back and forth with clones.

Absolutely done with ranked...DONE

Had a team that we went down by 15 kills..manage to come back because I get everyone to understand that objectives are more important than kills...we had their nexus open with no turrets for 20 minutes.....then after a teamfight where we kill 4 of them, instead of going for nexus, our xin and cho go top because "those minions could hurt our towers"

I DONT EVEN frickING....OMG KILL YOURSELVES...how do these people get ranked with this little knowledge of the game?!?!

asd;lkfjhasldkjrfhsajkdfh

Then we have the same scenario and our cho decides "Hey I need to buy item".....You can't write this shite.

Like it's just so bad...how much these damn kids don't understand how to play this fricking game.

Lost my last 4 ranked. One legit loss, 2 from a troll adc, and this one...it's impossible. I can't even get into a carry position because I'm at the bottom of the pick order every fricking time. This game.... I swear.

/rant

ETA: Go to play a normal after with 2 other buddies and we get the two most toxic trolls I've ever seen.

Riot needs to fix this somehow. Their product is complete shite with these xbox kids.
