Not yet. Due to the decline in activity, I doubt they will. I would imagine a large portion of players have done it, so they don't want to lose any other players.

So as a possibility in the DLC(s) I found something interesting. I was looking through the vehicle list for GTA 5, and I found this: link, y'all.
I don't remember seeing it at all in story/open-world play so far. Possible death in DLC?
