I ditched the Vault 111 jumpsuit pretty early on. I found some military fatigues, modded some metal armor, and found some aviators.
Unfortunately, since I feel the need for head armor, I found a jet pilot helmet and wear that so my aviators are rarely used
GF is going to her bff's house this evening so FO4 time for me And I'm off Friday

I have a shadowed helmet so my aviators are rocking with great head protection

I rock full lightweight combat armor with fatigues underneath with aviators. Sneaking around with silenced weapons is fun. Very satisfying when you clear a whole building or camp of enemies and they never know you are there.

Sneak is more than a little overpowered. Even though I haven't used any perk points on sneak or ninja, I can still wreck most things with sneak. Can't imagine how overpowered it is with the perk points.

At night or dark buildings I can sneak very close up to enemies. Sneak rank 4, ninja rank 2. Silenced 10mm pistol that does 78 damage and I can get 3-4 ninja vats hits before they turn around. Most of the time they are dead before they know I'm there.
I crippled a death claw's leg before he even knew I was there.
ETA: most satisfying kill was sneaking up on 3 super mutants and killing them all with ninja sneak shots in VATS and they all died not know what killed them

I didn't realize how high my sneak was last night. Was exploring a vault and some bandits were 15 feet in front of me, looking dead at me, going "I know he's here somewhere".
I probably could have got some crafting out of the way.

Max out sneak, sneak bobble head, 3 special ops books, 13 agility, 2 points in ninja and sandman with a legendary .45 rifle that does double damage to enemies with full health.

Hopefully not a dumb question, but do you have to keep the magazines in your inventory to keep their buff?
Posted on 12/1/15 at 10:48 am to sicboy
Not that I'm aware of. I hope not, because they've been in my dresser in Sanctuary for quite some time.

They sell for 31 caps a piece so I was about to unload all of them but paused...

I have 1 rank to go in sneak, picked up two mags and got the bobblehead. Have 2 in ninja as well.
I hardly ever get seen if I am being careful, even in full combat armor.

Sand man is a good tree as well if you use silenced weapons. Hitting for 3.7x damage atm with sneak shots.

I kept their buff and have them in some nice racks in my house

I don't have much in sneak. I have been rocking autopistols or SMGs for the most part, but yesterday I snuck around the outside of a camp with a laser rifle and picked off half of the camp before they found me.. That was fun. That combined with how much more I know about the game and builds makes me think I should start over with a new character. I have a bit of a hodge podge build because I had no idea what I was doing at first, and I think it is starting to weigh my character down.
I wish they gave the option to respec for some cost.

I've had the same BOS jumpsuit since early in the game.
I've been wearing the minutemen general's uniform for awhile now

I need to change my clothes. I'm sure raider gear has made my Vault 111 blues smell.

What armor does everyone have? I can't find better than my modded combat armor.

Wearing fully armored army fatigues that give 2 agl with an armored fedora that gives 1 luck. The ballistic weave perk is op.

I use the clothing as posted above with an assortment of body armor on top of it. I go for stats for those due to the crazy armor the clothes give. I'm wearing 3 agility and perception +1 pieces and 2 pieces that give 10% vats cost reduction with the fedora that gives 1 luck and sunglasses.
My ballistic protection is like 290ish with 310ish energy protection.
