I am. But I put a ton of time into pve content when Taken King came out. So, if the content is right, I'll partake.

But this isn't appealing to me. Prison of Elders was lame to me the first time around. Hoard mode doesn't suit this game well in my opinion.

And with the exception of trials, pvp has been progressively shite on since year 1. I get that they want to cater to the casual player, but they've made it so slow and stale. I'd take thorn and blink shotgun over what they have now. Shotguns are in a good place right now, but snipers aren't. The trials auto rifle needs its ammo cut in half because 50+ in a clip with the perks you can find is absurd. Last word has a terribly broken registration problem. These are easily fixable, largely ignored problems that have made pvp lame.

There won't be a hoard mode. A lot of people speculated that there would be and I think some still believe that, but it's normal PoE with a hoard mode element to it. You earn points for kills, head shots, assists, orbs, etc, but the challenge mode is still just three rounds and those points are tallied on a scorecard. The scorecard lasts for a week. You need a particular total (90k) for the whole week to get an armor piece. There's also another challenge on your card where if you get 30k on any single run, you get a weapon. But like I said, it's a predetermined amount of rounds with loot at the end for completing it.

Also, they took away keys for the treasure room. You still go down there after, but it's simply available upon completion.

I've seen this opinion quite a bit and I both agree and disagree with it. While I agree with the base of opinion that it's pretty solid for a free update, I disagree with giving them a pass at their lackluster handling of new content releases in year 2, just because it was free. If this was a type of update that they dropped between Dark Below and House of Wolves or House of Wolves and Taken King, then they should have been applauded. My issue is that this is the first significant update we've seen in 6 months and likely the last one we'll see for another 6. Looking at it from that perspective, it's not enough. I honestly would rather pay for a true DLC. I just don't think this is enough to fill the 12 month gap between TTK sized expansions.

Like I said, in between DLC's, something like this would have been great. And it's not like they really could have charged anything for this, anyway. It's one brand new strike and a reskinned PoE that includes some new challenges and gear. I love this game and I wouldn't have paid for it, so there's no way it was bringing back anyone that had stopped playing a while back if it would have costed them anything. Unfortunately, it still might not even with it being free.

When DC talks all I see is even uglier Adam Driver.

That came out wrong. I didn't mean you the person. I meant that strange Star Wars pic that makes Adam even uglier.
