They nerfed fricking everything. This looks so shitty.
New Meta in PVP will be

ARs might be useful again. Might. Hoping my summoner and Vanquisher 8 get back to some usefulness.
My max stability 55a Allfate looks to be a good gun to have right now.
MIDA is gonna be one of "those" guns now.
Red Death is the new thorn. Wish I had one.

In PVE sure. But that 10% buff will not be in PVP so it will be shite on there.

They are increasing the base damage across the board, the 10% pve is on top of that the way I see it. Could be wrong.

It looks like their solution to the Thorn and last word abuse is to lower the accuracy and range on ALL hand cannons. Completely idiotic

I am a bit bummed since my Hawkmoon was my favorite overall crucible weapon.
I am however pumped that Auto Rifles now have a place in this game again. I have a suros, summoner and Vanquisher VIII that have all been sitting in the vault waiting to be relevant again.
Vanquisher has Feeding frenzy, grenade cooldown on kills and perfect balance. Was a wrecking machine before the nerf.

While it sucks because I run hand cannons often, I don't mind it. I always thought it was pretty hilarious I could basically snipe across a map with a Hawkmoon
I'm glad about auto-rifles. I hated how basically no one uses them on a regular basis when I would consider that to be the "base gun" for just about any FPS

It'll probably come a few weeks before Taken King on September 15th. The last weapon balancing they did was supposed to nerf range on them, but didn't do much at all. I'm hoping they don't over-correct and pummel them too hard this time.
The one I'm most worried about is lowering base magazine sizes to hand cannons. They are actually making Hawkmoon's magazine bigger to spread out the extra damage bullets, so I'm hoping the reduction doesn't apply to the exotics. Last Word with less than 8 bullets is borderline unusable. You'd be trading a kill for a death pretty damn often with so much reloading.
