Dungeon itself isn't bad, only died a couple of times in it, it's getting one hit KO'd by the bosses that's frustrating. If you don't have ridiculous vit, they can fart in your direction and take off at least 75% of your health.

My vitality is pretty high at 44 (I read that going past 50 was kind of a waste) which is 1475 hp. I buffed it up a bit when I heard this dungeon cut it in half.

What's a good number to stop investing in vit? I planned on staying at 25 but I'm getting one or two hit deaths pretty frequently. Just curious what everyone else is. I really screwed up this build. My guy is pretty much a jack of all trades, master of nothing.

If you go to NG+, I'd level to at least 35 or so.
Jack of all trades isn't too bad of a thing. You can have a variety of weapons - elemental, pure phys, skill or str, and bosses have weaknesses to certain weapons.

So on my first try at the Watchdog of the Old Lords I had him down to where basically one hit would have killed him. Then I get stuck in the doorway and he charged me and killed me in one hit. I was very close to crying. On the bright side I'm not pouring blood vials into him because when I die it's in one damn hit.

Haven't played in a few days so I thought I'd play a bit tonight.
Walked straight into a new territory where I met The Shadow of Yharnam..... And beat his arse first try.
Having 3 of them made it more difficult, but that was a breeze.

Might have to wait on Amygdala until my axe is +10. Ludwig's is trash in that fight. Obnoxious boss fights.

Well that sucks. LHB is my +10 weapon.

Not really. You just have to either damage one of his apendages to the point where you can deal more damage, or use the 2H to hit the head.

I just stood under her/him/it and spammed R1 with Ludwig's Blade with the phantasm shell. It took a while since she's heavily defenced in the back but I stayed out harm's way. Just have to watch for stomps and jumps.

I need to up my Arcane so I can use the empty phantasm shell. In your stats what is the strength of your Ludwig and what were you hitting Amygdala for each hit? I forgot to get the two red jellies in the lecture hall on my first play through so now I have to do the lower loran dungeon after I beat Amygdala to create the dungeon where you fight Yharnam.

I'm deciding if I want to restart a character and focus way more on bloating than I did before. I feel like that was a completely untapped resource on my first run

Have 40 in str and did about 300-400 on his arms and up to 1000 on his head. I have some good blood gems from the dungeons as well.

I got the trophy for getting a extremely precious blood gem last night so I decided to look through the pics when I received each trophy and couldn't help but laugh at the Rom trophy. He got me with his ice barrage right when I killed him.

That's what I'm doing. I swore I had 2 red jellies and looked in my inventory and nope. I think you get two in Lower Loran, where I quit last night. I supposedly missed two in great Isz. Have to go back and look.
