What is best in life?

I cannot get the hang of the new LMG. Probably went 2-15 once I unlocked it

I went for the low weight version. Always thought I hated the Lewis gun but that thing is a fricking beast from long range.

Maybe I'll go for the telescoping and try the Benet.

Probably get into the snipers tomorrow.

Man. I suck so bad at this game it's ridiculous. And I suck even more when I have to get outside my very narrow comfort zone. I am less awful when I can keep the engagement range medium. I'm terrible close and even worse long. Trying to collect kills with the Lewis Gun is slow going because it really thrives at longer ranges. Honestly about the only gun I'm worth much of a shite with is the Madsen Low Weight.

I finally saw the Germans win a game of Operations at Verdun. They took the final objective on Fort de Vaux with less than ten tickets remaining on their final battalion. Very close! It was by far the most engrossing game I've played yet.

So what has to happen for the Germans to win Verdun? Well, as it turns out, I have to be the high scorer on the French team. I actually finished first, which absolutely never happens. And as mentioned above, when I'm the best player on my team, it's pretty much a given that we will lose. In my defense, though, I absolutely played out of my mind. K/D of 1.41, when I average between 0.5 and 0.8, and a SPM of almost 500. I was a one-man battering ram. Has this beast been inside me all along just waiting to get out?

Yeah, I'm not even trying for that. I know my limitations.

Yeah Verdun is impossible for the attackers to take. I've played 10-12 games of Verdun operations, and the attackers have yet to make it to Fort de Vaux. Luckily ive probably only been on the attacking team 2-3 times at Verdun. That map is badass though. Ive been posting up on choke points with the MG and taking the krauts to pound town.

I've taken the fort a bunch of times attacking, this is on the 40 person though. 64 I've yet to see it happen.

It isn't the entirety of the two maps that makes it so hard for the Germans. It is Objective Butters in the final sector of both Verdun Heights and Fort de Vaux that makes it such a challenge. For both of those objectives, the French "home" spawn is literally right behind them, and so the Germans have to hold each position against an unceasing flood of new defenders long enough to get the capture. Both of those objectives are fricking meat grinders.
