I tried inviting stout to party up the other night, just got the cold shoulder. It is like he doesn't even know us anymore

It is a mix of Conquest and Rush. Instead of arming bombs, they have to capture and hold the point, but your team can retake the point, unlike rush. If they capture both points at the same time, the retreat call is ordered to the next zone. All defenders in the original zone are highlighted to the attackers, so you better get running.
Attackers have a certain # of tickets to take as many zones as they can (tickets slightly increases after each successful zone capture). They have I believe 4 total attempts to capture all 6 zones over 2 maps. Every attempt after the first, they get reinforced by an airship, war train, or dreadnought boat.
The music they add to it just makes it a rush.

I'm all about the Gewehr .98 for my bolt action, iron sight, sniper. It shreds.

I think I'm going to give that a try tonight. I'm enjoying the iron sights over scopes.

Try it, faster firing rate than the SMLE but is limited to 5 rounds.

I love them. It brings me back to my COD 3 days with the Kar 98K. I was about unstoppable with that gun. The Gewehr m.95 isn't bad either. It does less damage, but has a real good ROF. A head shot with it is still a kill no matter what.

you need to google the martini henry sniper rifle.
it's the level 10 scout class unlock weapon. it has the best "sweet spot" of all the sniper rifles in the scout class. it's a one shot kill from 40-90 yards. the rifle sound is also awesome.

So first thoughts.
It was weird getting used to the slower bullets. I have to shoot ahead of people even with machine guns.
The pace is awesome, and I bet this game is a blast when playing with a team. It's ok by yourself, but some servers are just snipe fests.

Dude, I had a terrible game. I couldn't do shite. I tried to rush too much as I was geared for assault. It did not work. I really need to work on my Loadout for operation. I've been playing domination mostly.

Attackers get more tickets back per person they kill that refuses to retreat too

I had my best game last night, switching between assault and medic. Although I think more than half of my kills came from one of the stationary weapons

Did you play BF4? They actually have sped up the bullets significantly from 4.
