That does not change my point. Sony would never want it's install base to have to make an xbox live account. And they already do and have been for a long time having cross platform with PC.

That's because they aren't competing with pc. It's also not the reason they gave when asked why they refused.

Yea because that is what a company would say.....

"We don't want our costumers using a competitors product"

Is way worst PR than.

"There is a security risk"

What competitors product is being used in rocket league cross play again?

Dude, clearly Sony does not want to have cross play with Xbox. Nobody is arguing against that. Actually that is my point.

Rocket League they have cross platform with PC already set up. They don't want to with Xbox.

Minecraft no way in hell they will do it with anybody because Microsoft is making people have a live account. (Microsoft owns minecraft)

I don't even know what you are arguing.

How is Sony doesn't want to play ball with Microsoft your point when literally every post you've made is deflecting to XBL accounts or saying well they've done it before.

This was my first comment on the subject period.

Also Switch users will have to log into xbox live to play cross platform on minecraft.

No way Sony would ever allow that.

We already know Sony does not want to go cross platform with xbox. So I said no way they would ever allow that.

My point was no way in hell they would ever allow that.

You need to learn how to read or stop reading in between my words.

MH World is for sure not a spinoff.

How do you view the relationship between Monster Hunter: World and the other Monster Hunter games? Is this a spinoff, or a main title?
Ryozo Tsujimoto: This is the next main Monster Hunter game. Our Osaka team is working on it. We've brought in some people who are more familiar with next-gen technology to come in and help us adapt it for the current generation of consoles. When you have a series that runs into the higher numbers, I think the numbers themselves start to become off-putting. New players might think, "Oh, I've missed four games already, I can't possibly join at this point." Just because we've taken the number off the title doesn't mean it's not a main Monster Hunter game. We just wanted to have "world" in the title because it speaks to the concept of the game in a variety of ways. This is the first simultaneous worldwide release for the game, and the servers are global this time.

Yeah all of the news has been terrible from Capcom on this and XX. Just a poor showing from them. After the USF2 debacle, it's pretty clear they aren't really interested in the Switch.

I am just glad they are finally going back to console. I spent too much time on the PS2 and Wii U versions. I get why people are upset but I am just not a handheld guy.

That interview was very good and seems like they are making some good changes in my opinion.

Somebody on NeoGAF put this together. It is the youtube trailers and mirror trailers views from E3.

Pretty interesting.

No surprise, people like Spider-man and Star Wars.

3 really was fantastic. Loved that dang game. Would love a port/VC version, but oh well.

Have an X1, Capcom won't get a penny from me on this regardless of how good it was unless they change their tune overall. And I'm not talking about MH5.

I do wonder where the fear of cannibalization on Nintendo platforms comes from. On the X360 we had SF HDR, Alpha 3, SF IV, etc. They had no problem giving us all of the SF's, plus MvC, etc.

The Switch gets USF 2...annnnndddd...that's it? Even though it could certainly handle ports of the rest.

Yikes, there are making it "easier"and bringing it to consoles with no portability. They really want to try something new this time around.

I read most of that article and feel like he discounts the West as not good gamers

First off Monster Hunter has never been hard. It is a grind but I have never found them to be hard.

How did you get that from that article? They are changing some minor things it seems.

I see changes that will help new comers understand the way the game works, like showing damage numbers. But this won't make it any easier for anybody who has played the game before. I would probably turn them off.

If you still have doubts listen to this monster hunter nerd who was there. LINK

I know a lot of people were worried about this, so I hope this puts a lot of fears to rest. Monster Hunter World DEFINITELY still looks and feels like Monster Hunter, now with more depth than ever
