Just hearing about this and I actually bought a 970 6 weeks ago, 30 bucks is 30 bucks

The overall settlement amount was not publicly disclosed within court papers, however Nvidia agreed to pay all consumers who purchased the GTX 970 graphics card and indicated there would not be a cap on the total amount it would pay consumers.

According to TopClassAction website, NVIDIA has agreed to pay 30 USD to each buyer of GTX 970. Company will also cover additional attorneys’ fees, which are estimated at 1.3 million USD.

Ha! First thing I thought of was you and your $60.
With that big unexpected dividend, you should spring for the $1,200 TITAN X.

Yeah......no.
I'm guessing resale of the 970's will go to shite with the 1070 and 1060 though. With the two game codes and this rebate I will have paid effectivley $230 for my 970's that I got over a year and a half out of.

If you fellas were going to purchase a graphics card for a build in the next couple of months, would the GTX 1060 be a good choice? I don't want to go too far north of $400, so I've been thinking about the GTX 1070... But at $250, the 1060 is looking pretty nice.

They are Strix 970's $200 each or I will just use them in another machine.
