Were they both using the same media?

As time goes on, I'm getting more and more convinced to finally drop Xbox and go with PS.

Who the frick plays original xbox. I buy next gen for next gen. Plus it's not like your fricking 360 stops working because they came out with something new. Stop bitching.

If the cartridges were the same dimensions for the GameCube, I people would've gotten pissed.

Maybe I should have put the rumble pack into one of the gamecube controller ports, I didn't try that.

But I thought you mentioned something about cartridges. . .Did the Cube use cartridge media?

They used small discs. I only made that point because he compared the N64 and the GameCube. A cartridge would obviously be not compatible with a cd- based console. But the new gen consoles are all cd based, which baffles people when they aren't backwards compatible.

Whatever happened to the PS4/Sony using that Cloud company for some form of backwards play?

I think you would have to repurchase PS3 games.

Did the NES cartridges fit in the SNES?

We've only had one generation of consoles that were backwards compatible. This isn't that big of a deal. And it took Microsoft forever to get the patches out so the 360's could play older games.....and they didn't even get to all of them. They just gave up.
