If this sells as well as all the other flash back plug and play systems there are bound to be more NES a nd eventually SNES iterations. I think the Atari 2600 ones have like 5 or 6 versions. I'm pretty sure I've seen Genesis plug and play that also plays carts as well.

Problem with some of these systems is you cannot save your progress.

There are save states on this like they do for virtual console

I own a wii u, and a 3ds, that's 30 years of Nintendo...this is a cool little concept though, the problem is that you can't play duck hunt on modern televisions without duck hunt, an nes system is incomplete

I think you're overstating the importance of that game. An arcade port add on for SMB. It was fun, but it's not "essential".

You can buy a tube TV on Craigslist for like 20$. I kept my old Sanyo 32 inch specifically for playing old consoles.

But you also get raped on Craigslist

Can you get the original SMB on the Raspberry Pi? Most of the sites with ROMs are missing that game. Seems like Nintendo tolerates emulation with other games but guards SMB1 closely.

Why has no one talked about Double dragon 2? That game is gonna take up alot of my time with this console. Wish it would have included contra though

They will be sold out the moment they hit retail. Still my favorite console - could sit and play those games for hours.

Nintendo will probably create an artificial demand like usual
