What do we know so far? It will make plenty of promises it can't live up to. Combat will suck and gameplay will be repetitive.

I started playing Unity after their massive update in March or February, and I have to say it's pretty fun. The map itself is pretty remarkable. I seem to remember hearing the next one will be set in Victorian London.

I feel like AC set in Japan would be the closest thing I could get to a new Tenchu, but why do they refuse to set one in Japan? Tons of potential there.

No kidding. Japan would be awesome.

Samurai
Ninjas
Tentacle Monsters

It would have everything we've ever wanted in an AC game.

Here's some delicious irony: AC III's creative director said an AC game in Feudal Japan would feel too familiar. "Feudal Japan would work as an Assassin's game, for sure, but I feel like it would start to look like 'oh, have I played this?'"

I look forward to this year's frame drops while climbing [tall thing] to unlock additional map clutter using the worst stealth controls on the planet in what is primarily a stealth game.

Your guy will jump off a tower while climbing and commit suicide.

I think that was after he said this gem.

quote:

People on the internet suggest the most boring settings.

The three most wanted are WWII, feudal Japan and Egypt. They’re kind of the three worst settings for an AC game.”

After Unity and not being able to restart, I will buy this when it's $5 not before.

No kidding. All they have done is repeat the settings.

Feudal Japan is perfect for this game.

Isn't there a new one set in China? I don't know what system its on though? Ever since AC2 I've wanted one set in modern New York. I want to swan dive off the top of the Empire State Building and Statue of Liberty.

They did a 2d game in China recently. We are getting about 10 AC games this year.

Assassin's creed is getting ridiculous with all the games they are releasing

2007-2011: 1 AC game per year
2012: 2 AC games
2013: 1 AC game
2014: 3 AC games
2015: Now 4 confirmed
