So ready for the 3.5MM jack.

The headset adapter blows so much.

That's nothing considering the number of hours of use you get out of it.

Getting the play and charge kit was the best thing I've ever done.

i checked those out, but a lot of the reviews poo poo'd on it. especially the base, and how the controller connected to it.

So they work pretty good?

I've had my charge kit for close to a year and it works great. I've never actually had my controller die.

Do you pull if from the wire? Maybe I'm luck, or just dont play as much as yall, but I got a day one console and have never had a problem.

I use the Nyko Charge Base (both 360 & One). Works great for me.

I believe the first one I did, the next two just broke and I can only think it was from me trying to pull that fricker out of the controller

I use the energizer recharge base for the controllers and it works great

looking forward to the new controllers tho. that old headset jack sucked so much. I've got this headset and hate using it because the sound breaks out in it. have the same type of headset for my ps4 except it's wireless and I've never had an issue with it. oh and I love the ps4's ability to have a wireless headset.

I've got the Day One console as well and haven't had any issue with my controller. And mine constantly falls a few feet from the couch into hardwood floors. I'm always like "ok, this time it's got to be broken" but nope, it's still going strong.
