Been eyeing a new monitor. LG just came out with this one LINK.
are there any technologies on the horizon that will make me regret the purchase? Thoughts?
ETA: Dammit just realized it isn't a 1440. Suggestions for curved 1440 monitors would be great.

I think linustechtips reviewed a curved 1440 one. I don't quite remember, but search his YouTube and you may find it

1440p Ultra-wide is probably the best way to go unless you have a rig that can output 4k at reasonable framerates.
