Yeah, that sounds legit.
I'm not trying to argue people weren't honestly beta testing the game, but from what I'm hearing, the "beta" label is just a formality right now so they can refer to certain questions and issues by saying "it's beta"

Similar to how google call a lot of their products beta, it just means its not really feature complete, not that google mail users for instance are just testing their product.

I signed up yesterday. Game seems funs so far. I'm going back to my MMO roots with a damage caster and a priest. My next evening at home is Sunday but I think I'm on the server most of the group is on. Characters are Curios and Curiosity.

This kinda makes me lose trust in how this company is prioritizing considering the fact that all those 1000 diamonds were lost in the rollback while there are people out there who made thousands of dollars selling billions of diamonds to third-party websites.

luckily I didn't play much over the weekend so I didn't lose a thing, but I feel you.
played for awhile last night and had zero issues.
PvP after level 40 is INSANELY different. you have clerics and wizards who actually know what they're doing. I played 3 rounds last night and only died once, while being the top scorer each time

having a mount makes questing easier.
i didnt lose too too much.
i have an affinity for chain pulling mob after mob in dungeons with a cleric healing me. pretty awesome.

yea I got the black armored horse that's 110% speed and it's been the best purchase ever. I love that you can use it with each character too

how many different kinds of currency are there? gold, astral diamonds, zen, 3-4 kinds of seals? bars? pvp tokens? zone specific drops? Astral/Celestial coins?
It's sad because they did really well with gameplay/combat and professions seem interesting enough.

yea, that's a big complaint of mine. it's just too much. wtf do the seals, bars, celestial coins, etc do?

I really enjoy the gameplay, but the economy is overwhelming at this point. I haven't invested too much into the game at this point, but I've enjoyed playing it so far.

They allow you to buy different things.
Grab 40 zone specific pieces to buy one seal.
Use a certain number of celestial and astral coins to buy potions, elixers, and drake seals.
Use astral diamonds to place auction items and buy key items.
Use glory to buy PVP items
Use bars to buy epic loot
They REALLY help in single player

or you could simplify the economy and have one or two currencies
or don't flood new players with 15 different vendors for 15 different currencies before they know anything other than copper exists

yeah , the currencies are incrdedibly overwhelming.
i just worry about coin
zen when i feel like buying stupid shite
and AD when i need to take level 2 enchanements out of a peice of gear
not even gonna worry about all tese currencies until max level
