Currently playing Skyrim remastered but don't have much longer on it. I really like RPG's, open world adventures, and other action games.
Ones I have played and finished:
Shadow of Mordor, Fallout, GTA 5, Witcher(played multiple times..favorite), Dragon Age, Far Cry Primal, Dishonored 2(not my favorite), Last of Us, Elder Scrolls online, Assassin Creeds, Battlefield 1, Call of Duty.
I really want a huge RPG open world but any adventure game that takes a long time to beat. Any suggestions?
Also what games are coming out this year that are like the above?
Thanks for the help

For new games coming out you may enjoy.
Horizon Zero Dawn - Feb 28th
Nioh - Feb 7th
Both RPG but different gameplay.
Both look to be great games.
Edit to add: Ghost Recon Wildlands may be something you will enjoy too. Open World Co-Op Shooter coming out in March.

Just want to say I agree. BB is pretty much a must play.

Destiny is alot more of an open world type game than i was expecting. Takes a while to beat- especially if you get the newer taken king and rise of iron. If you liked halo back in the day, its made by the same people so it has a similar feel but with open maps.
im looking for recs on new games too since i just finished the last of us

BB and DS were honestly too tough for me but may give them another shot. Wish Witcher 4 was coming

Highly recommend Yakuza 0.
Open sandbox of two areas. Large but not GTAV overwhelming maps. RPG-ish leveling systems of three different fighting styles for two playable characters. Lots of side missions in edition to the main story for both characters. Pretty intricate fighting system, button mashing only works for so long. Lots of loot for weapons, equipment, and other items (health, quest-specific items). Can craft additional weapons/equipment. Can build two "empires" for the characters in their respective areas; one a caberet club in which you hire your girls to entertain customers. The other you acquire real estate.
Plus, there's an insane number of things to do. Batting practice, dancing, bowling, darts, eastern and western gambling, dancing, meet girls through phone hook-ups, fishing, arcades with old Sega games like Out Run and Super Hang-on...
It's a GOTY contender as far as I'm concerned, but it's a Japanese game so it basically gets ignored in the west.

Metal Gear Solid V. It has lots of flaws, but is alot of fun and sounds right up your alley.
