Yeah somebody that is playing it keep us updated on how it plays. If I would have known it was gonna be available for download early this morning I would have done it before I left for work. This day is gonna drag now.

It is night and day better than last years. there are still some little things that people will probably get mad at im sure but this is the first time that i have been impressed with NCAA on the next gen system. safeties cant over the whole field and defenders are not all knowing, so receivers can get pretty wide open so you can hit those big play / blown assignment plays if you find the right guy.

The blocking as so much more realistic looking, even down field. i hit a hole in the line and was coming up on the safety and my receiver came out of nowhere and got enough of him to give me a little cut and to the house. I was able to run the counter play very successfully a couple of times but i havent tried a draw play yet.

Defense seems like it has lots of closing speed, but it also is easy to over pursue which leaves cut back lanes. defenders cover their assignment and can not cover the entire part of the field. combination routes that both occupy one guys zone will be open, but the defender has lots of closing speed, so it might not be a big gain unless you make him miss.

I wasnt that excited for this years game after what last years was like, but i will be there at midnight for the release now.

Yeah the game play is slowed down some. The Players actually have momentum. You can't just hit turbo and be at full speed. Overall the gameplay is more realistic and much smoother.

Great game, but I guess I should point out a few flaws that i'm having.

When jumping between coin toss/play select/ halftime/ etc....there is a bit of a pause(stutter). It's not important to the gameplay, but just a noticable concern.

The play select screen forces you to hold left trigger to select a play without highlighting it.The selection is also only limited to three play choices instead of 4 per screen. You must scroll one by one to find the play you want instead of page by page.

Crowd still sucks, but the close-up views of happy/angry fans adds a feel of spectators more-so than usual. Although the fans seem to be pulled from a pool of about 20-25 models...seems a little generic still. Their reactions are all pretty generic too.

These are the only issues i've had thus far, starting a new game now though.

OU does the no huddle every down when the clock is running, which has caused my player to be offsides a couple of times since he is running back from the backfield to the defensive side.

Stadium Announcer sounds much better.

Camera angle looks to be the same regardless of formation (Zoomed out as if you are in shotgun formation) which helps see the field better and the defense. +++

When hurry up is called, the offense and defense doesn't have to audible to a new play, it pulls up the play selection while both teams are running back to the line of scrimmage.

This is the first thing that jumped out at me. And I actually like it. They had been using that same stadium echo guy since the games early years.

I didn't find that the demo was visually stimulating like I was expecting. I like the player movement, and the blocking. I find it far more realistic from the little I have played it.

I did not think the open field running animation looked good. It looked like they are gliding. That was the only unimpressive thing that stuck out to me. I did not like the 3 play with only one being highlighted unless you hit the left trigger. Hopefully it's just the way the demo is. I just played one game quickly, so I am sure I will find more things that I like/dislike.

How do you unlock other teams for the demo, or is that all you can play?

Actually one other thing. The only thing I still don't like is the Robo QB making perfect passes more often than not, when he is about to get hit, or while being hit. EA needs to make it where the QB gets happy feet when he is pressured or gets hit alot.
