Mortal Kombat X story/endings discussion (MAJOR SPOILERS obviously)

Let's first throw out the arcade endings that clearly can't happen for the story to advance to the next game:
D'Vorah - Uses Shinnok's body to gestate a legion of super bugs to take over the realms
Goro - Takes over Outworld and kills all non-Shokan
Quan Chi - "Reprogrammed" by the elder gods to kill Raiden
Shinnok - Destroys the universe
Sub-Zero - By far the stupidest ending I've ever seen in Mortal Kombat. How to train your Dragon 3 - Lin Kuei edition
All of the other endings not only make sense and complement the story but tie into each other as well.

Can someone merge these threads please? There shouldn't have to be two of them about almost the exact same thing
