MLB The Show '14 Online Franchise (PS4) Sign-Ups

I figured while I am doing absolutely nothing at work, I would go ahead and start up the sign-up thread to get things filled before the game comes out so we can all get about a week or so of practice in before everything starts. The week or so will give us time to do some research on slider settings, etc. to get an overall feel of what we want to go with. As others have stated, rosters should be out by the time the PS4 version is released, I just hope that we are able to use the same roster vault as PS3 users. Anyways, I know of a couple of guys that will want to join that are not on this site, so we will most likely have to find an off site way of communicating scheduling, etc. I'm open to any suggestions for that. I know a bunch of us OS guys have used AIM for other game franchises and it worked rather well.

Here are some of the most pressing rules that I could think of (posted in a previous thread):

1. If it's a ball, don't swing. If your opponent does nothing but throw balls, it's your job as a hitter to not swing. I don't want to have to implement a strike rule or something stupid like that.

2. If you want to quick pitch, that's fine, but beware of the consequences (early steal). If I see you running the same pitching pattern, why wouldn't I take advantage of it?

3. Bunting has always been a sour spot in baseball games, especially when Wins are on the line. We all have an idea of bunting, and when it needs to happen. We shouldn't see anyone in 3-6 holes bunting runners over. Don't be a douche attempting to bunt to break up a no hitter either.

4. Players should play realistic positions. I remember last year, players had primary and secondary positions, and that was the only ones that the player could play. That way, we don't see Alex Rodriguez at 2nd base so you can grab Chase Headley for 3rd. That sort of thing..

Anything else I am missing, or is there anything you disagree with?
