It's all cloudy in my head...isn't that the mission where you get to the area with the missiles outside (like the Crossfire mp map) and then have to go underground?

There was some veteran mission on COD2 where I threw in the towel. So many grenades landed on my head at one point the indicator had formed a complete circle.

That game is ridiculous. I actually played it about 2 months ago on my PC with Game Genie / Shark codes and still got stuck on the level where there are spikes every where and the world rotates at certain check points.
