I can't believe GameStop talked me into this one I ran around trying to follow the shitty waypoints trying to find my friends for like 2 hours jumping from island to island and kept slipping off like some kind of new age lion king for snes
There's no way to hit somebody with your gun you have to stab them with the retarded halo sword
And if they were gonna let a 10 year old animate the running guy in 3rd person they should've put it in first person

I was a huge fan of ME 1-3. Yes, even 3. I didn't play them until 2015 so I have no problem with graphics that aren't top of the line. Also just played Bioshock and Last of Us.
I am barely into the opening portion of the game and the facial expressions and lip syncing are already annoying me as is the horrible script. I'll stick it out but all of the complaints are valid. I thought maybe there was still some ME3 backlash carried over but nope. The crappy expressions, oil slick hairstyles, poor acting and weak dialog are real. The ME decline is real. I've barely begun so maybe I will get used these issues once the game kicks into action.
Update - Once I was just roaming around, I enjoyed it much more. I can't quite figure out how they do such a good job with the environment then so so so wrong with the faces.

They outsourced the facial animations. Also pay attention to the writing once you encounter Reyes. His storyline was actually done by bioware Austin the makers of the trilogy

I think the reason I don't really care for this game is it's "Mako" heavy, after you have done one planet the rest are just repeats with minor variations.

Human Vanguard - Scattershot V with Melee attachment, juggernaut shield - sometimes Talon for the ability to hit stuff with a gun
Human Engineer - Scorpion VIII / Equalizer VII, barrel / mag mods on both, jug shield

Nice, I've yet to get anything worthwhile in the way of weapon drops outside of the vanquisher.

The vanquisher can carry any lvl 10+ kit to success on gold if you play smart.
1 expert pack per gold run so 3-4 expert packs an hour
That's how I did it. Got lucky with the Vanq I out of a 20k pack and then started running every kit with it in gold after I leveled a few matches in silver. It really is that good.

I've actually been enjoying the game although I get the criticism. Especially for the graphical problems.
I've seen comparison to DAI but to this point there hasn't been a main quest remotely on the level of In Your Heart Shall Burn.
I guess Eos has been similar to Hinterlands in that I've spent too much time running errands there.
Still baffles me that they released this with the great environments but terrible character graphics.
Yesterday Ryder had a conversation completely cross eyed. On Eos there is a chick in the landing area wobbling around. She has gigantic lips and looks like she needs to flee to a battered women shelter.
