There is a difference between the bugs in the originals and what is happening in this game.

But is there really a difference?

this game is sick, yeah the facial animations are off, partly due to the voice audio being echoed like everyone is talking in a fricking walkie talkie. Combat is lit fam

11 pm needs to hurry up
Also frick the reviews. X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a top 10 Xbox game for me and that's a 75%.

Played pretty late last night. Got time this morning and I'm gonna go in for more.
Game is awesome so far.
But the facial animations are...there's no other way to say it. It's uncanny valley all over the place.
And the real reason is the game looks pretty damn good. Animations and such looked just like this ages ago in ME1, but the faces looked plastic and weren't uncanny valley at all.
But now, faces and eyes are so hi-fidenlity that when people speak without moving their eyes realistically or at all? Like that one lady on the Nexus, it's jarring and hard to get over.
I don't even know if that's something they could patch, but I hope they can. It's only in the walk and talk cutscenes that are animated by an algorithm. But the face rig wasn't calibrated right or something.
Better get Garrus on it ASAP.
Combat is fun. I'm going to spend a while making every planet I visit 100% viable too.
Exactly my kinda game.

here's what I've noticed. The cheekbones don't move and the head stays still whilst talking. Also, the voices come over almost as like an echo no matter where you are. This doesn't help the animations at all. All in all, the story and the combat come first for me in the game. I can see why people don't like it because of the facial animations.

Agree, with you both.
Only got to play a few hours, but noticed it also. Not as bad as some made it sound though.
Dont like I can't save at anytime like past games (checkpoints).
Hope the RPG elements pick up as I get deeper in.

Why do massive games still use checkpoints?!?!

I'm at a part on eos where there's stuff to do but the radiation is too high

Wtf. You could do that in the OT. That's one of my biggest gripes with games and the fact that they removed it really pisses me off

Combat is in fact, lit, fam.
Nothing better than Pulling an enemy from behind cover and raining hell upon them.
