Im probably in minority, but I love that game.
I think the game gets better as you open up more areas and gain access to the nozzles for your water pack.
I don't remember that camera being too annoying. I would wait until you at least get the jet nozzle before calling it quits

I can handle the camera but I'm sure it's unplayable for a casual gamer
I like it ok, it's just not very impressive. Fun but Mario 64 and Galaxy set a high standard
It's more difficult than Galaxy which was way too easy so I like that. It's also less linear than Galaxy

I have a love hate relationship with this game
I really wanted to like the game, its great at the beginning, but then as the game progresses you realize its more and more of the same. It's enjoyable, but not very diverse

I'm finding the opposite
The more I play the more I love it
The button mapping is the most complex of any mario game including a difficult camera system but once I fully grasped it, it's pretty much awesome

I loved the game, personally. The levels were challenging and exploring for hidden sprites ate up plenty of time. I'm not the biggest Mario junkie but this one really sucked me in.

One of the best games I've ever played. Managed to get all 120 stars too
