It stinks. I liked my character carrying through all 5 phases of the CBT on Tera.

I see that they offered beta codes with FFXIII for the Beta on PS3, but is there any way to hop on this without one?

A lot of things are priced to allow you to test them. The biggest example: head to a crafting guild and check the price on materials. Everything is so insanely cheap there. I assume phase 4 will have the "real" prices so you can't just buy a huge stack of mats and easily burn through crafting levels.

I'm sure there are other changes like this all over to allow more people to experience/test more of the current game.


They are certainly doing certain things right with ARR Didn't even need to drop a fish to fight him, though it looks like he's been eating a lot.

Don't remember honestly. I know it has me on Aegis now but I didn't know if that was where most beta people were put. I didn't play a ton back then, mainly got up to ~34 fishing.

I use to play FFXI religiously and had 4 level 75 Jobs before I quit. I should of sold my account when I quit but was never sure If I would start playing it again. The game was totally addictive and the only way I was able to break free was when I had kids.

Now that my kids are older, I am debating on playing the new FF. My oldest son is playing the beta now.

Does anyone know if characters from the beta will transfer to the original game or will he have to start over once the game goes live?

Mentions nothing of character progress on characters that existed before any of the betas.

Schedule this weekend. Curious that there is no end date listed. Since duty finder might not be available right away but will be implemented, I'm curious if they are planning on letting this part run longer.

The next Beta test is scheduled to begin at 2:00 a.m. (PDT)/9:00 a.m. (GMT) on July 5th, 2013.

Starting from the next Beta test, the stress testing of the duty finder is planned to be conducted. However, the final QA check of the system is still in progress.

As a result, there is a possibility where the duty finder will not become available at the start, but instead will be implemented through the update that will be conducted during the Beta test.

With the testing details including when the duty finder will become available and also the closing schedule of the next Beta test, we will be making another announcement before the test begins.
