Mafia III is broken as shite

I started playing it tonight and 5 fricking times I've had to restart a level because the game is somehow not reading when there's supposed to be a scripted event. Anyone else having this issue.
I wanted to play a fair amount but I think I'm done with it unless anyone has any solutions

Agreed, which is why it is still sitting on my table in the amazon package envelope.
I think I will just return it and buy it again with it hits about $20.
I think I will pick up the Shadow of Mordor game of the year addition for $10 and play on that.

Got it on PC after the weekend update. No issues/crashes. The lighting wigs out here and there and the rain effect is god-awful, but performance-wise it runs fine.
Just your typical piss poor PC-optimized console game. But I'm having fun with the game.
