Just finished Metal Gear Solid V and looking for something new.

Haven't played Witcher 3 but wasn't sure if it's too similar to Sky Rim which I've played recently. Was also considering Red Dead Redemption (never got around to playing it) and maybe Far Cry 4.

Any recommendations?

Fallout 4 and Dragon Age: Inquisition maybe. Definitely play RDR and the Witcher 3.

Yup. RDR is a masterpiece probably the best single player rockstar campaign ever. Undead Nightmare is amazing too

This is the correct answer. Sunset Overdrive might be an option as well. I've read differing opinions.

I bought Far Cry Primal for the time period and wasn't disappointed.

It's the only game in that series I've ever played so I can't speak to the others, but this one was fun and simple.

The beast taming mechanic and owl were cool.

and you can get mods for the game. it's a lot bigger than skyrim.

I was watching some guy play daggerfall, and holy sheyat, what a huge map.

Hmm looks like Fallout 4 is on sale for $19.99 on the Xbox store. That's tempting. Somehow RDR is still $29.99. Feel like I'm better off getting a used copy from GameStop.

Pretty well I'd say. The graphics were among the best of last gen. The game play and story are a just as good as any other top tier open world game out right now.

Decided to go with Fallout 4. $19 price was too good to pass up.
