Least Favorite Character In Video Gaming

The FFXIII thread got me thinking. Who is my least favorite character in video gaming? Who annoyed me the most? Was he/she annoying because their character sucked or were they just hard as frick to beat?
The winner of the most annoying character award, imo, is Hope from FFXIII. Yea, we were just talking about him I know, but god damn I hate him. The fact that my save file corrupted doesn't help his case either, though.
Don't you want to just punch that kid in the fricking face?
As for the character who was so damn hard that I didn't even enjoy the fight, I would have to go with the final boss on Ninja Gaiden 2 on the hardest difficulty. I had to replay that fight so many damn times that I didn't even enjoy it when I won. I just wanted that bastard dead.

Hope was probably the #1 reason I did not finish FF13. Up until that FF12, I loved the series, but as much as I didn't like 12, I still beat it. I had no desire to finish 13...
As for least favorite character:
Hardest character(for me):
Demon's Gate-FF7
frick this dude. Game was a piece of cake up until this point. When you are young, you don't power level, so you get to this fricking door that is resistnat to magic, immune to status effects, and can rape your arse with 1000+HP attacks on the whole party
Much easier to beat now when you know he is coming, but other than the optional bosses, he is probably the hardest boss in FF7.
As far as annoying:

yeah, she is probably in my top-5 favorite video game characters. Portal wouldn't be anywhere near as great without her, imo.
