And which would be a Better remake?
Gotta go with clay fighters. Remaking that would leave a lot more possibilities than KI. A lot of the people I know like KI better though.

Clay Fighter
I used to love playing CF 63 1/3. It was original and hilarious.

Killer Instinct, hands down.
Grew up playing that shite. Fantastic fighting game. Rare was so awesome back in their glory years...
Hold L+R, then press X>B>Y>A>Start during the "vs" screen.

KI was the better fighter. CF had it's moments because it was funny, but KI would be the better remake.

Killer fricking Instinct
Thought I was the only one who played it back in the day. I was always a Jago guy. Cinder was cheap as fricking IMO

Wasn't clay fighters made to placate those parents complaining about how bloody Mortal Kombat was? That made me never want to play it as a kid.

KI.
One of the main reasons I still have my SNES running.
I fear it would never hold up to the original...(see:KI Gold)

I was a huge fan of both. For hardcore fighting, I would go with KI, but the more enjoyable was ClayFighter. KI was just more rewarding.

KI all the way! clay fighters was a great game too though

Feel like both were terrible fighters but really fun to play. It was hard to break some characters combos. For a remake we could get that issue fixed but if I was to choose one..
Clay Fighter was simply fun

Killer Instinct was far more memorable and would provide for a better remake.
That being said, I played games like that and never loved them -- the lack of engaging narrative failed to draw me in. I tend to think of games like that as good "arcade" games. Unfortunately, arcades are more or less dead. I dunno.
