You are a jackass if you believe Witcher doesn't have deeper lore and Witcher 3 having better controls than Skyrim.

It's the best game since HL2 IMO.

So all fantasy games are ripping off Skyrim? Witcher 3 is a better game in every department, it's not even close.

It is one of the best looking games ever. That is a fact.

I get that some don't love the combat but I do. I love that you actually need to dodge or parry. Hey I loved Inquisition too but Inquisition was mostly button mashing.

Witcher requires some patience early on. Heck, If you are very patient, you can kill monsters well out of your lvl range. In a button mashing game, you don't get the satisfaction of killing something 10 to 20 levels over what you should be attacking.

Having said that, I don't have that level of patience so I did a lot of running away early on. That is when I wasn't a pile of gore from being smacked around by a level 40 basilisk.

I do think people go too far with their love of the story. Also the general nonsense that the quests are all good.

There are plenty of fetch quests. Contracts are just dolled up fetch / kill quests. I liked the main story but I don't see it as game changing.

I still put this as one of the best games ever. Would have been better without 500 water logged ??? is skellige guarded by the most annoying monsters since Morrowind's bird things that dive bombed you from the sky.
