Couldn't wait on NES to drop some more classic minis so I caved. I have EVERY NES, SNES and Genesis game. What should I play. I'm kind of overwhelmed lol

I've started working through Rygar. A very underrated game with a very bizarre soundtrack that will worm its way into your head and never, ever leave.

Rygar is up there in my Top 5 NES games.

Love me some Rygar, just not the PS2 remake.

Edt: I also remembering only beating most bosses because of glitches. But was also like 5-6yrs old.

There was a remake? I had no clue. That sounds like a terrible idea, honestly. The original was a hallucinogenic masterpiece that could only have worked within the limits imposed by the NES.

Yeah, PS2 in like 2003/04. Went out and bought a copy just because of my childhood Rygar experience. The game is not good.

Edt: Oh.. and Rygar was the first time coming across a Ligar. lol

Another thing about Rygar, I wasn't aware of upgrading abilities. Beat that hard arse game as kid without ever using upgrades. Wasn't until emulators became popular in HS during 2005 that I actually realized this was in the game.

Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy 2, Final Fantasy 3 (using the US-release numbering convention)

I never played the Japanese-only releases, so no idea on those, but I do remember (vividly) how blown away I was when I was first introduced to 16-bit music, compared to 8-bit. The first game we had for the SNES was FF2. Special place in my heart.

Oh, and make sure you have Star Fox on your play list. Awesome game.

You're looking at about $80 total for the Canaberra kit and the SD card.

The setup takes about 30-45 minutes. The only time consuming thing really is downloading the roms you want, or you can download the whole NES, SNES collections and delete the ones you don't want
