Got one today also. came wit FIFA 17 and The Division, and I used the 25 dollar gift card from Microsoft towards it. 248 total.

Why so? I am also getting back into gaming after a ten year break and have always had Playstations. I was about to pull the trigger on a PS4 Slim but then heard the X Box 1 S has 4k blueray. So now I'm torn again unless PS4 has 4k ability. I'm really not up on the latest capabilities, but would feel more comfortable with a Playstation than an XBox.
Tell me gamers pros and cons PS4 Slim v XBox 1
I'm not going to be doing an incredible amount of online gameplay. But I have never really done it before and I'm incredibly competetive so there's that. I prefer mostly fighting games like Tekken, Virtua Fighter, etc. Rpg's like Tomb Raider, God of War, etc.
Most looking forward to playing Batman; Arkham Series and Battlefield 1.
What should I get?
ETA: This will be my main source for Blu-Ray playback as well.

Just depends on what you like

Shooters: Halo 5, Halo Master Chief Collection (Halo 1 - 4) , Titanfall 2, Battle Field 1, I'm sure many others
I really liked Rise of Tomb Raider. Far Cry is fun.
Honestly you need to just look at games and see what interests you.

Xbox Live also gives you a few older free games each month, not sure if PS does that. Really could go either way, I've had Xbox since the original one so I am stuck in my ways.
That said if 4K blue ray is a feature you might want to go Box. A lot of over lap in games plus some unique exclusives, granted PS4 has some good ones. If you like fighting Xbone has a new version of Killer Instinct but I haven't played it

saw where battlefield 1 is on sale @ walmart for $27.
