Oh god here we go. Let me just sum up how this thread is going to go:
Dota players are going to call League easy and a game for kids because it's much better at teaching the game and more clearly executed.
League players are going to say Dota is boring, executed poorly, clunky, and not balanced.

I play some dota but I'm not that great. Its pretty entertaining for me to watch it on twitch though. Big tournament going on right now (DAC).
For me I like that dota actually punishes you for mistakes unlike League. I also like the small things like denying creeps and stacking camps. But I think the art style of league mostly just puts me off from watching or playing it but I won't take it from those who enjoy it.

I play DotA heavily. 2000+ games of DotA 2 and a few thousand of DotA. About 1500 LoL games played.
This thread will mostly be LoL players acting insecure trying to spread their expertise on DotA after playing 1 match and getting destroyed.
You're asking in the wrong place.
Their game is good, their game is more popular, but for some reason the insecurity flows rampant. It's really fricking strange.
