It's September. What's the best game of 2017 so far?

A bunch of stuff is going to come out in the next few months but I wanted to see what you guys have liked to this point.

Breath of the Wild is GOTY without question for me. Even in a year with all sorts of awesome games. 2017 is an awesome gaming year.
Edt: I feel Horizon will get the nod here on TD because most on this board do not own a Switch.

Except it is. Obviously that game is a lot of fun, but it's not even a final product and it's pretty one note.

Not meaning that as a knock, but it's one game mode. A really fun one, but that's just it. Zelda and Horizon are complete, robust, LONG, and gorgeous games and I don't think you can compare PUBG to those two.
And this is coming from someone who REALLY wants to play PUBG.

I don't see how you cant call PUBG the best game of the year. It has reached 1 million players every day for the past month, and, unless there's some major Dota/CSGO/LoL tournament going on, it's constantly the most watched game on twitch.
It's popularity is unheard of for a game not even fully released, currently as a PC exclusive. This game will blow up even more once it hits Xbox

I've already stated my reasons. It's still early access, not a complete game yet. What if they finally release a full retail version and it actually shits the bed? Horizon and Zelda aren't streamable games so obviously they aren't going to be as "popular", which I don't think should be the biggest metric used when you are talking about GOTY. I'm sure Candy Crush was the most popular game and had the highest concurrent player count in it's hay day.
Again, really want to play PUBG. I pray the eventual PS4 port is good.

They're really good games, on consoles (gasp), that will probably win virtually every GOTY award for 2017, unless Mario Odyssey blows everyone away, which I'm sure the fanboys will assure me it will.
