Is there a way to make working your way up coaching jobs harder in NCAA 14?

I started a new dynasty wanting a long road up to a prestigious position. In year 1, as OC for Texas State, we went 10-3 with a victory over Michigan in a scrub bowl. That offseason I get offered the OC job at Alabama. Why in the world is it so easy? My coaching prestige was only B-.

But why would a B- coach be offered the Bama job in the first place?

Because it is an offensive coordinator position..... Hell Arkansas hired a high school coach for the offensive position, sure that would be considered a C- at the time

Other than bumping up gameplay difficulty, you can make up your own house rules.

Examples:
Have to stay at current job for a minimum of 2 years.
You cannot make leave for a job with a prestige rating over 2 stars greater than your current job (* job can only go up to *** job).

Since coordinators should also be viable recruiters
Must recruit:
Top 100 class to move up from one star
Top 75 to move up from star
Top 50 to move up from three star
Top 25 to move up from four star
Top 10 to move up from a five star

That's all I can think of right now after just waking up. I'll post more later if I can think of anymore that I have used.

You should try being a DC. It's more challenging than being an OC because this is a game that EA focused on the offensive side of the ball.

I started off as Illinois's DC and did pretty good statistically. After year 2, I was offered the South Alabama job and went 8-4 my first year. I'm in my second year and I'm 8-1 and ranked #21 with my only loss being @Notre Dame. I expect a BCS school offer after this season
