Looks reasonably priced on steam flash sale and was curious (yes I have searched).

Thanks all and Merry Christmas

It is an open world zombie survival game. It has been mentioned along with DayZ and the walking dead series games. I haven't played either of those so don't quote me that they are similar. If they are I need to check them out because I loved State of Decay. Its cheap and you will get your moneys out of it many times over.

If you search there have been a lot of threads about it with other information. Just don't use the TD search, just google State of Decay and Tigerdroppings and they'll all come up. It did have a lot of bugs when it first came out but they have since been fixed.

I think it's great. Been waiting for a chance to get back into it. Kept getting caught in side missions first time.

There really isn't anything like it.

It would be great if this game had multiplayer. Probably would take over DayZ if it wasn't just solo and your annoying companion.

Yes it has been worth the money to me. Its kind of like fallout in 3rd person meets zombies. I have put about 30 hours into the main game and about ten into the breakdown dlc which is pretty fun.

Think of those guys made this kind of zombie game on the scale of Fallout 3.

Here's to hoping they turn State of Decay 2(if it happens) into some huge, open world US where the objective is to travel from city to city(coast to coast) to accomplish survival.

If it was an mmo on Fallout 3 scale I'd probably be playing it for months.

Why not work together with other survivors to built up a fortress that can do everything from building weapons to growing food?

Hell yeah I'd do something like from the Revolution show on NBC and start my own republic wiping zombies out along the way.
