Eevee is the only exception to this. It learns all of its moves after evolving, so you should level it up as soon as possible.

Other pokemon can still learn moves after evolving. Such as Haunter to Gengar.

Pikachu to Raichu is an example of no moves learned after evolving.

You can get a guy to re-teach your pokemon old moves if you give him Heart Scales.

and if you talk to the guy left of the counter, you can buy the mega evolution stones for the gen1 starters you didn't pick (i.e. I got charmander, so I was able to buy Venusaurite and Blastoisite) for 300,000 each.

Where did you catch that Eevee? I haven't come across one, or is it given to you?

Don't let the Pokemon name fool you, underneath is a fairly complex RPG with stat maxing, elemental strengths/weaknesses, and a plethora of abilities that can be used in various combinations for certain effects.

This is an Inari fox. Or a Pokémon, I'm not sure.

It can get incredibly complex.

This contemporary type chart is just the beginning...

You then have to consider double battles, triple battles, etc, along with EV min/maxing, Megas, move sets, STAB, double STABs, and so forth.

Sweet, we got others who is playing this.

I got both X and Y but for some reason, I am just staying with Y because my two teams is okay

Team 1 Team 2
Sylveon - 76 Delphox - 72
Gardevoir - 75 Togekiss - 68
Yvekal - 73 Trevenant - 62
Blaziken - 88 Abomasow - 55
Greninja - 75 Blastoise - 47
Lapras - 63 Crawdaunt - 46

I have to clean up FC because I am getting too many request because of my Safari is a Normal type and guess what is the headline for that? Once I clean it up, I will post the FC.

how hard is it to jump in these games? haven't played one of these since yellow. having so many pokemon kinda turned me off to the series. are you totally screwed if you don't know everything about each or can you figure it out without screwing yourself over?
