Why stop at Sega? Go ahead and buy capcom and konami while you are at it. They probably have a bundle deal
That's true, but Sega used to be one of the giants of the video game industry and has been under-performing for a long while.
As the owner of Sega, I would renew all major franchises. I would treat Sonic like Mario in that I would split 3D Sonic and 2D sonic into two different franchises. 2D Sonic would follow in the footsteps of Sonic 4 whereas 3D Sonic would build upon the foundation laid by Sonic Adventure through Sonic 06 while taking aspects here and there from Generations and Unleashed.
I would release Virtua Fighter 6 with subsequent installments releasing every 2 - 3 years afterwards.
Phantasy Star Online 2 would receive a North American release followed by the announcement of a Phantasy Star JRPG.
New installments of Sega Rally, Outrun, Afterburner, Streets of Rage, and Hang On would retain their arcade roots and be re-imagined as download-only titles on Xbox Live and PSN.
etc

quote:yes. You'd have to have the original team so buy Rare and then buy Playtonic.
I would buy Rare and release Banjo-Threeie
Get Grant Kirkhope on board and go back to the basics.

I read it as a joke. Sega is done with consoles.

Either EA and make their games quit sucking, or 2K and re-launch their sports franchises with generic teams but gameplay so good that fans would buy and mod them to have real teams.
