For the first time in my life, I feel like there are no games I'm excited for.

I've got an XBONE and just finished my 3rd play through of Fallout 4. If I put up one more concrete block in a settlement, I'm going to go crazy. I'm looking for something new to play, but all of my favorite series seem to be dead right now.

Battlefield - Still play BF4 on occasion, but there is no mention of BF5.

Halo - Series has been dead since Halo 3 and I refuse to waste my money on this shite anymore.

NCAA Football - FML

Destiny - Tired of paying $30 every 2 months to play this beta game.

GTA - Had this on 360 and don't want to fork over more money for another copy.

Forza - Not a game I can seriously get into. Fun to pop in every now and again and play around.

Elder Scrolls - Skyrim was my first true experience with the series, and I had a hard-on for the duration of my play throughs. Nothing slated in the near future for this series for a release.

I know you've got the Division, Witcher and other games out there, but it seems like for the first time in a while, there's been a real lull in the categories I tend to play. It seems like there was always a major installment in one of the above mentioned series in the works and coming out soon to be excited for. Maybe it's just time to do something productive with my free time.

I mean, if you like Skyrim, you should get some enjoyment out of witcher 3.

I wouldn't say there's a void of quality games at all. It sounds more like there's a void of games available that you're willing to fork money over for.

Destiny is great if you haven't played in awhile and there's DLC coming later this year. The Witcher is the Game of the Year for a reason. Hell, whoever mentioned Rocket League is on point as well.

I can't seriously convince myself to get that game. I know people say it's fun, but I need depth and story.

BF5 is coming out in the Fall or Winter 2016, bro. We should be hearing about more specifics shortly. So far, it looks like it's going to stay in the modern military times. At least that's the last I've heard.

The Tom Clancy games--Rainbow Six Siege, The Division and Ghost Recon Wildlands--are looking really interesting. So far, R6S has been playing well and The Division beta just concluded.

I haven't bought TTK, so to catch up on all DLC by end of year, I will have invested $60 + $30 + $30 + $30 + $30......I'll pass.

I'm not a big fan of 3rd person games. I feel like the mechanics are always super retarded....does Witcher break the mold?

Witcher 3.

You are insane to leave this one alone.

It is worth it.

Does Witcher 3 have armor upgrades and rare loot hunting like Skyrim and Fallout?

Play better games

Can't you trade in old Gta for a cheaper current version?

Witcher 3, dark souls 3, rocket league are games you should look into

There are 32-33 maps in BF4 with endless weapon combinations. Every time I play BF4, I'm still finding crazy things happening. When's the last time you could say that for a COD game?

I've played my fair share of Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon games in the past and have never enjoyed them. I've always disliked the mechanics of their FPS games....maybe things have changed in recent years.

There is no lack of quality games available. Sounds like you are being picky. That is fine, do whatever you want with your money. There are plenty of good games out there though.

They have changed. Rainbow Six Siege changed to a very team-oriented, close quarters model and The Division and Wildlands are focusing on open-world and RPG elements with cooperative PVP and PVE models.

The fixed the fighting mechanics a whole lot from 2-3 and it's made combat enjoyable again.

There's even difficulty settings for if you want combat to be challenging or you can do it where's it's basically just the story and you just kind of run through every enemy.

There is loot based armor and upgrades. As a matter of fact, almost all of the good armor and upgradeable potions are found by treasure hunts.

The story is also unmatchable. Perhaps the greatest story in a game that I've played in several years.

So according to you guys, the massive expanse of quality games boils down to:

Rocket League - Car Soccer. I'll try it but I'm also not 14.

Rainbow 6 - Could be fun, but I've never been a fan of the 1 death/round model that was Counter Strike

The Division - Not released and still up in the air

Wildlands - Not released, but looks interesting

Witcher 3 - Watching gameplay videos and it's 3rd person. I'm not a big fantasy fan, Skyrim pulled me in because of the first person mechanics and looting options.

I'm sure these are fun games, but they aren't traditionally what I play.
