This game is incredibly fun and extremely addicting. Fun RPG game.

On the plus side, while it was an excellent game at launch, you now get to enjoy it after a year's worth of extensive bugfixes and gameplay and interface improvements. It's about as perfect as open-world games get these days.

It does? Game has maybe the best combat system and runs great.

Yeah, only issues I really ever had was Roach getting stuck on stuff and handling weirdly at times (which they make fun of themselves wonderfully about in Blood and Wine).

It took a while for it to click for me, but when it did I was hooked. It's the only open world game that has kept my attention for a long period of time. Just a masterful game.

Same here. Bought it several months ago and couldn't get into it. I think part of it was I was burned out from Fallout 4. But now I'm hooked, 20+ hours in and not even close to finished

I'm playing on PS4. Swimming and horse riding controls are both awful. The walking controls are extremely loose, you keep moving if the stick is just slightly out of center. Its very common for me to have to manually stop walking rather than just take my finger off the stick. This is really annoying when scrolling through the menu as it keeps scrolling past where I want to stop and I have to go back.
As for bugs, my game has crashed several times. I've also had enemies get stuck in walls or places where I can't get to them. I've had Geralt get stuck in trees a few times too. The loading time is also really slow. Overall I like the game but its way more buggy than FONV, which got lots of complaints even though I never had a problem with.

You've got a long way to go. I've logged 127 hours and still haven't beat it

Can another PS4 player corroborate what Stalin said about these game play issues? I was thinking about picking this game up, but his post now has me apprehensive

I agree the controls are a tad fricky but they don't pose an overall detriment to the gameplay IMO.

I have it on PS4 and the control is a minor complaint for an overall very good game, don't let it keep you from getting it

Did you change movement to alternate? Standard has a momentum mechanic that is garbage.

Wish they would just follow GTAV standards. Very fluid movement
