There has to be a way to make it smaller so you dont have to use all of that space just for the field. It looks like you are going to have to tear down that mountain as well as extend the land out into the ocean which would take a ton of time.

Half of the field is floating 1-8 blocks above ground. I was just going to block it over everything then fill in the sides.

How long did it take you to make the eye? also what steps did you take?

Took nearly an hour maybe? I just opened up an image of the tiger eye on google images and started with the outline first. Worked my to the middle of the eye ball..

Just do a super flat world in the new update problem solved. And u got creative mode so it should take about two hours tops to build
