Anyone use homebrew for wii? How do you like it? Will it play back up games?

My brother has it. I actually had it for a day or so but ended up having to send my Wii in for repairs so I had to get rid of it and I just haven't put it back on again.

Back up games = copies of original Wii games. I've installed homebrew via the twilight backdoor and I'm working on using a backup launcher (Wiigator) to play copies of games since the children seem to scratch every disk up.

Not too sure about this but I want to jump in...
I just read about pulling roms and playing it on a PS3. I downloaded a program from a blog and extracted it to my thumb drive and then I am going to import my roms to that same folder and supposedly you can play NES games.
Anyone ever done this or am I missing a step?

I have played some NES Roms on my PS3. The emulator actually runs as a video, ie, you have to start it from the video section on your XMB. The one I had didn't have sound though. However, Bo Jackson was still a bad mutha on Tecmo Super Bowl.

Man I did it and I thought it was going to work. Well I have the latest ps3 update and it will not work on there. This sucks. Hopefully there is some kind of new update to fix playstations fix

I don't know. Come to think of it, I haven't tried the ROM thing since version 2.3 or something. I just updated to the lastest, 2.6 I believe, but I probably won't be running any ROMs anytime soon.
ETA: Find an emulator for you PC. This works much better, IMO.

Yeah i figured it would but I like the idea of using my PS3 controller.
