Probably. It looks much easier than III. I get tired of having to micromanage everything with III.

The interface is much improved. In 3 having to synchronize the so force take off times with infantry marches was ridiculous. I've watched more streams and pre-release let's plays the past few days than I should probably admit. I'm excited but there are definitely some things that need to be ironed out, much like the Stellaris release.

Purchased a long time ago.
I am worried it might be "too" easy.
Every lets play I've seen has had the player walking over the competition.
Still going to love it though. Kinda wish I didn't have volleyball tomorrow.

Depends on who you are watching. If you are watching the guys who play all the Paradox games (arumba, quill, etc) then yeah they will walk all over it.
Paradox has had them beta testing, so it isn't even new for them.
I probably won't pick it up since I have a bushel of grand strategy to play already. Maybe by the Steam winter sale the price/time will make sense.

Going to wait.
Paradox games never are great out of the box...usually takes a year or so for them to attain this...the recent Stellaris is another example of that.

I haven't put in as much time as I've wanted to but I'm enjoying it. Started a game as Italy and realized pretty quickly I seriously misunderstood the mechanics. Still managed to defeat Ethiopia and yougoslavia and push a tiny bit into France. But Britain successfully invaded me twice and ruined my economy and I started over. Doing better.

I've been playing as France. The production system is a little difficult to get used to and I don't think I did it right or France just really sucks when you go to war. I started it in 1938 and created the French Alliance. I extended both the alpine and maginot lines so I have my entire east border fortified. The Germans have tried to break it a few times but have been unsuccessful. I had to restart once when Italy joined the war and they obliterated my fleets.
Britain also made a naval invasion into Germany and Poland is doing okay at beating the Reich back. The results you can get are pretty hilarious.

France is supposed to start off really at a disadvantage.
I like the randomness. Otherwise there's no replay ability.
