Has anyone ACTUALLY played Maplestory?

I don't understand how a game like that can have such a huge following and last so long. It boggles me about as much as Runescape still going. Is the game really that good?

I tried it years ago when it was still in beta. It was sorta fun. It has an old school side scroller mario type feel to it. Not sure why it lasted as long as it has, didn't keep me interested more than a week.

I may have gotten the word jizz banned from it and got myself banned years and years ago. I would throw flour on the ground at people telling them I jizzed on them. Jizzed on a mod/admin and poof got banned. Tried it again later and the word was censored... That game was so stupid, I don't know how anyone played that shite for long.

My brother played that crap for so long. I have no idea what the appeal of it was.

I did back in the day. F2P games are super popular, especially ones that aren't taxing on your systems. It's popular worldwide and almost anyone can play it.
