Played for about 30 minutes. Hard pass.
Far cry and just cause do what they are trying to do better. Controls are clunky, driving sucks, team AI is retarded. Would definitely have to play with a team.
Map was very good though.

Will say I really like the socom navy seals vibe I get from the game
also tagging bad guys for your squad to simultaneously kill together is the tits
just really wish the driving was better

All of this. Driving sucks donkey dick. I played this for about an hour or two tonight and got used to the controls and wasn't too bad. Then I switched back to Uncharted 3 and was so much better speed/control.

Lol I mean it's worth a try, it's a decent game.
It has a bunch of concepts done better in various games, but this is the first game to put those concepts into one game. The problem is it does those concepts average to bad quality compared to those other games that already have those concepts.
Side note this game also reminds me of GTA V. And again GTA is better at the a lot of the stuff wildlands is trying to do.

Played it for a few minutes and instantly got bored. Seems like vanilla division meets farcry. Very boring

That's a lot of concepts.
But yeah I agree it did remind me a little bit of GTA V. It isn't terrible. I've done a few missions and those were fun, especially stealing a lambo look a like. I like the drone. I hate you can't use melee attacks unless I'm missing something.

If you like this function and haven't played Ghost Recon: Future Soldier I would suggest giving that a go.

I'm surprised at all the hate, there are some issues but I enjoyed my time playing last night and from the looks of it this game is going to have a lot TON of play time not just 10-15 hours.

Yes you can perform a melee attack. For PS4 it's Square or R3. Can't remember which but it definitely can be done.

Played again this morning. Had fun raiding posts. Not as bad as some making it seem. I didn't like the controls at first, but just takes some getting used to. Its fun to play with friends for now.

This was the first thing that I tried to do when I got in a vehicle for the first time. Flicking the lights on and off is oddly satisfying though.

I am at about 3 hours played time and I am loving this game, the driving doesn't bother me because I hoof it everywhere to run into the outposts not on the main roads. Yes it has it's glitches and graphic problems (It's Ubi) but not enough to stop me from playing.
The AI squad is mostly useless, fights are usually over before they engage IF they even engage.

AI is good for setting up multiple kills. If tell them to Fire, and no one is marked, they will go in guns blazing. The key to the AI team is giving them commands.
