Recommend me an Alan Wake/Stephen King/Half-Life movie?

Dune and Blade Runner also come to mind.

I can't think of any new movies that fit this description. Except "I am Legend" but I can't in good conscience recommend that movie to someone.

Se7en, one of my all time favorites and I think it fits the bill of what you are looking for pretty good.

good answer.

I'm going to throw Zodiac out there. Mainly because my fascination with the the Zodiac case, good cast, and because David Fincher is the motherfricking man. It's one of my go-to movies, and it just has an overall eerie quality to it.

Blade Runner fits the bill TBH, just damn I have viewed it way too many times. Lol

Idk if I have ever seen Zodiac, is it the new one with Donnie Darko?

Not a movie and might not fit all of your criteria but I finally watched the first 5 episodes of True Detective and it's fricking awesome. Can't wait for the final 3 episodes of this season to wrap up this story line.
