For Honor has lost 95% of it's playerbase since launch.

since everyone loved to post these exact threads regarding the Division, I feel like we should all marvel at Ubisoft's latest abortion, which is actually performing worse in the player retention department.

this might actually be UBI's plan though, as it frees up the playerbase to buy their next rushed cashgrab.

LINK

the saddest thing is, Ubi is actually capable of making a game and supporting it, as evidenced by rainbow 6 siege, which everyone pretty much agrees is incredible. It did not start off incredible, but after numerous updates and fixes, its actually GAINED players from launch till now.

Where is that guy who was defending this game hard in the launch thread?

Sooooooooo glad I didn't buy this game. I knew after the beta the only people who would be playing in 6 months would be the hardcore few.

Now R6 is absolutely amazing.

What happened? I actually liked the game a fair bit, but I kind of stopped playing after my friend didn't log on as much.

The 1v1 duel mode was awesome.

Another one that jusy baffled me. Couldn't understand how anyone got hyped for that piece of shite game. I want to bump the thread but I'm too lazy. I wish I was as ruthless as I was with NMS. You could tell both of those games were trash from miles away, yet people bought in droves.

I think there was issues with lag.

from what ive read, the issues seem to be

its p2p, so no dedicated servers.

the balance is fricked up.

being offensive and aggressive isn't rewarded, the games turn into everyone going full defense and waiting for someone to attack, so they can be countered.

unlockables take forever to unlock

people can always just run away from any engagement.

matchmaking pits high level ppl vs low level people and due to gear, its always a slaughter.

1v1 duels can be fun.

re: those twitch numbers, a lot of us suspect Ubisoft pays off the popular twitch streamers to play their games a week before release to generate hype that looks "organic and real".

Nobody took that serious at the time. It was just a point we made fun of.

I think everyone who follows twitch understands new games put up high numbers.

That 5% is probably a bigger number than the people still playing Nier Automata.

Nier: Automata tops 1.5 million units sold

1.5M units sold, with nominations for many GOTY awards to come. Pretty good for a "niche game."

LOL at Ubisoft

Took me a while to scroll this far down

i really wanted to pick up friday the 13th just to frick around with my buddies too it might be worth it if i get 2 nights af fun gameplay but it just looks so damn glitchy/broken

for honor is polished in comparison to that, the problem is you need a full party or your arent gonna have any fun in for honor. that seems to be a trend in gaming these days

Games like these should be 29.99. The current paradigm of all new games costing $59.99 needs to die.
