I probably won't get a chance till this weekend, but downloaded this morning.
I also preordered the Deluxe Edition, but I don't know if I'll keep it.

Just finished. Nice little taste of the game. Loved the visual style and the score was amazing. Seems like a nice combo of FF and KH
Dodging is kinda bullshite though, at least it was the boss. Loved transforming into the animals. That gator
They just need to fix the camera. That slight position to the right is terrible, especially in the vehicles

There's 2 hidden weapons (a shuriken and a shield) in the plaza where you fight the boss. You have to use warp as adult Noctis to get them

Fought the iron giant again....only this time at night in the rain and holy shite did it just look badass. Warping up to a high place when he was using what looked like Demi? The move that actually starts sucking you in. It can be avoided if you run the other way while its drawing you in.

Was frustrated I didnt hit one of the explosive barrels with fire while fighting him. Would have liked the option to lock on to it and do so as he got close. Also wish I had an ice or lighting spell to cast when it was raining to see how the weather would effect it.

The shiny hammer is in that same area.
The key is to get as many gold orbs as possible.
Once you fight (and beat) the iron giant boss, fight him again and warp up the citidel to the very top center, fall down and there is the hero shield and shrunken (you need at least 100 orbs)

I rushed through it because I didn't have time. Tomorrow I'll get more into it. I really didn't even figure out the warp.

I don't know what I think about the combat with just holding a button. It does make it more interesting switching weapons and warping.

I'm chomping at the bit for this game. No Man's Sky is going to last me til Sept 30th, but man the struggle is real. It looks incredible.

They have a " wait " mode now. Can pause the combat and allow you time to pick and choose your moves.

Interesting. I did not know that. Just looked it up and it looks like the mode I would prefer for sure.

Having never played any FF in the past, would I be OK playing this? Or would I need to play previous games?
