-Background, character model, fonts and all 2D parts are higher resolution
-Movie scenes are higher resolution
-Uses current-gen graphics tech

-Japanese and English voice
-Option between original BGM and newly recorded BGM
-shorter loading time
-auto-save feature
-turbo mode
Pretty excited for this. Wish it was a tactics remake though.

been loving these remakes of the ff games. almost done with the ffX remastering for the pc. Going to finally play x-2 after i beat X again.
And yeah Would Love a Tactics remaster.
Ff12 is actually one of my favorite ff games espically the Zodiac version.

Yes, which makes Square's decision to make doucheboy Vaan the main character completely ridiculous.

Right and I agree. Basch side of the story could have made a great game in itself. But I think japs prefer girl men main characters. Could totally be wrong on that.

Yep.
Other than Vaan I mostly dug 12, though I still think that the random linking of treasure chests for the ultimate weapon without any in-game clue was just bizarre. Good gameplay, great atmosphere.

Ign ranked all the final fantasys a few weeks ago and put xii as 2nd. I was shocked. I hated the characters and it's been awhile but I remember the plot being pretty confusing
