I find VII and VIII the best because it was new to me and the experience was fantastic. The only story line that stuck with me was VII. I don't remember what happens in the others.

I can't remember all the summons but I remember not liking IX's.

p.s. I didn't play past X because they started doing weird stuff.

But the PSP version of the first is the one you should play.

Were there any notable changes?

It's a good remake. Updated visuals, an all-new user interface, new art, and new music. It's the same art, music, etc but re-recorded/redone with new techniques/technology. They also adds a bit of story to the game to make Alex a more personable character.

I'd read about it online. Definitely worth the buy/download.

Yes, so you can make the last battle that much more badass

I don't find it takes that much time. You should get the kills no matter what as Cloud. Then to get the number of limit breaks you need, just go into hyper and manipulate cactuars or something to hit you.

i ended up saying frick it. got meteorain and just decided to finish the game.

Rolled into final battle with cloud, cid, and vincent and fricked shite up. safer seph owned me on my first try but he was really easy after i used regen and big guard. frick that supernova attack

all in all, i thought this was much much easier than X. May be because I played X when I was a little kid and had NO idea how to level.

I don't remember the battle arena being too tough to get all you need as long as you had big guard and ribbons. I think Cloud's ultimate weapon helped out a good bit too.

Yes the battle square is where you get it, but the original post made it seem like he already had it just didn't have all of the other limit breaks.

As for the battle square, it really is pretty easy as long as you have a ribbon.

If you really want to finish the game just keep a seperate save file. You can go back and get all the power-ups etc etc later and still get the satisfaction of beating the game's main story.

I started playing 12 a few nights ago and I'm at Tomb of Raithwall and i cant seam to get past Belias.

The fire Guardian protecting the last door to enter to get the dawn shard. I literally G.O.'d 7 times before I went to bed. This shite should be easy but I never purchased Water for my Black Mage. Good thing is I have some teleport motes and can go back and forth to the towns via teleport crystals.
